An unusual and uneven climb in as much as there are several long, flat and downhill sections, rendering the uphills significantly steeper than the advertised average for the whole climb. The surface is poor in places too, but the stunning views more than make up for it. The summit is amongst the highest in the region and for its length and altitude alone it is rightly considered one of the regional stars. The descent is technical and demands caution in places.
